Our Services

  • Thoughtful and extensive review of Educational Records and Outside Assessment Reports, which can help to:

    • Develop and organize the story of your child’s educational career;

    • Identify and rectify gaps in data;

    • Develop ideas regarding your child’s strengths, and ways to support and build on these;

    • Provides opportunities to identify potential mismatches between intervention method(s) and area(s) of need; and

    • Develop recommendations related to possible modifications to the child’s IEP or 504 Plan. Including, but not limited to:

      • eligibility/assessment data, data collected for the Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFP) Section of the IEP, IEP Goals and Objectives, the Impact Statement of the IEP, Accommodations/Instructional Supports, Services (e.g., methodology, type, frequency, intensity, setting, etc.)

    • Guidance and support to understand assessment results

      • On your time, and in the privacy of your home. You can ask all the questions you want.

    • Guidance and support related to requesting assessments, and suggestions for the Team on which areas to gather data.  

    • Having another perspective at the IEP/504 Table when the assessment results are being reviewed and decisions are being made.

    • Home / School Communication Liaison Support with Staff outside of the context of Meetings.

    • Coaching and Support / Input to develop and maintain productive written and in-person conversations with school staff.

    • You can expect GPS Education Consulting L.L.C., to provide respectful, direct, professional, timely, and knowledgable communication with Clients, School Staff, and Community Partners over a variety of formats (e.g,. email, phone, video-conferencing, attending IEP / 504 / School Meetings, etc.).

    • As a former IEP Team Member, Evan often led the Team in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

      • This gives your child and their Support Team access to resources that can often times help busy school teams get supports and interventions in place faster.

    • As the former Facilitator of the Instructional Intervention Team and School’s Problem-Solving Team, GPS Education Consulting L.L.C. harnesses training and experience in the areas of
